The CBID Maintenance Program
Community pride comes from a more inviting image and a positive sense of vitality. The BID plants flowers, organizes promotional activities, and hangs banners to enhance the beauty of the neighborhood. These projects are scheduled on a periodical basis. However, every day, the Central BID Maintenance Crew is charged with keeping the district free of litter and debris. During the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons, using the the ATLV 4300 All-Terrain Litter Vacuum, the maintenance crew works on a rigid schedule, 7 days a week - starting at Townsend Park and ending the day at the City line. While two men man the two ATLV 4300s , the BID also has two crewman on foot, making sure they get what the machines were unable to pick-up. In the winter our crew continues to clean the streets on foot and during heavy snow, clearing away crosswalk entrances. In situations where a pedestrian or driver needs aid, the BID Maintenance Crew is more than happy to assist.
Our maintenance crew are the eyes and ears of the district - keeping the streets clean, giving directions when asked and keeping an eye out for our district business and property owners. With a debris-recovering capacity nearly twice that of most machines of this kind, the ATLV 4300 All-Terrain Litter Vacuum restores beauty to the BIDs streets. The ATLV 4300 cleans surfaces ranging from asphalt to concrete to grass, and also picks up hard-to-reach litter lodged in fence lines. Below are some of the ATLV 4300s highlights:
