What is AveNew2000?
Making sure that The Central Business Improvement District is poised to manage the revitalization of the Central Business corridor of Albany, a “strategic Business plan” was needed. Revitalization of the Central Business District is a vital component of Mayor Jennings’s Capitalize Albany Plan: a far-reaching vision and commitment to realize the full potential of Albany as a fitting environment for the State Capital of New York.
In order to fulfill it’s mission to revitalize the Central Avenue business corridor and it’s gateways, the Central BID has launched the AveNew 2000 Strategic Revitalization Plan. It’s a comprehensive study that examines what works and doesn’t work to make this neighborhood more vital.
