      Albany’s A Sign of Recognition.
      Central Avenue and Colby - Albany's Uptown» Rick Bergholz of Traffic & Parking Control Co. (TAPCO) complimented the Central BID on its new street signs
      by providing the highest honor — inclusion in their 2006 catalog of standard sign designs.

      “We loved the way they look and thought they represented one of the nicest new installations anywhere in the country... the picture we used in the catalog has led to other communities doing the same thing but with some variations,” commented Mr. Bergholz. TAPCO makes custom street signs for hundreds of municipalities.

      Anthony Capece, executive director of the Central BID remarked that “We’ve gotten a lot of great compliments on the signage and hope to enter them in a design competition.” Central Avenue and Colby - Albany's Uptown
