» Our Lady of Angels Church, which has stood at the corner of Central and Robin in Albany since 1867, is closing on April 3. Our Lady of Angels, built solidly in 1867 at Central Avenue and Robin Street, once overflowed with one of Albanys most predominant immigrant populations. Now, like neighboring St. Casimirs before it -- and six riverside churches in Watervliet and Green Island -- Our Lady of Angels long-standing community and cultural bonds have been severed by time and a shift in demographics.

Central BID would like to remind everyone;

According to the City of Albany Code Section #32321;
. . . in no event shall snow, by anyone, be shoveled, cast or deposited into the city streets, carriage ways or crosswalks for removal.
Violators of this code can be subject up to a $50.00 fine per violation plus cost of removal. Please call DGS at 434-CITY with any further questions.
