Graffiti is a crime of vandalism involving the defacement of real or personal property. It is also a sign of urban decay that sends a message that the community is unconcerned about the appearance of its neighborhoods. City government cannot do it alone! » Albany NY- Mayor Jerry Jennings announced the schedule for the 2007 Household Spring Cleanup Program. Spring cleanups will be held on selected days throughout April and May. "This beneficial program is an excellent opportunity for all City residents to dispose of their excessive household trash" said Mayor Jennings. Only residents who live in residential dwellings with four (4) or less units may participate in this program. Trash should be placed curbside the evening prior to your scheduled spring cleanup day. Any questions regarding the Household Spring Cleanup program, please call the Department of General Services at 434-CITY.
